Learning Methodology
Junior and Senior Kindergarten
We let a child be a child. At the very core of our teaching methodology lies the concept of thematic approach. We provide multi-level, multi-content and multi-sensory learning experiences to our kindergarten students. Edutainment is what we like to call it. We have fun-filled activities like Teddy’s Tea Party, VIBGYOR Day, Grandparents’ Day and Toy Sharing Day where the children learn while they play. Not just that, we also organize educational trips and picnics where the focus is on fun, fun and more fun.
Pre-Primary, Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary
Learning within the four walls of a classroom is fine, but we go a step ahead. Our approach is more holistic in nature and we believe in shaping the minds of the leaders and decision makers of tomorrow. We organize inter-House and intra-House competitions to foster a healthy
competitive spirit among the students. We motivate and train star performers who represent the school in inter-school competitions on local, national and international levels. We leverage our modern facilities like computer lab, library, audio-visual room and activity areas for the overall development of the child. We identify the unique learning abilities of each student and impart customized education based on these individual needs.
E-learning Module
We use a unique 3-D educational software, accessed from anywhere within the school premises through a high-speed network. The software is used as a teaching aid for educators and also provides complete syllabus of CBSE Mathematics and Science subjects for classes I to XII.
Activities
We encourage our students to participate in training workshops, educational trips, and tours as a part of their learning experience.
Grading Policy
We have observed that students perform better when they do not have the pressure to prove themselves! In this regard, we have eliminated the examination criteria to ensure that the students learn because they WANT to learn and not because they HAVE to learn. We do not conduct examinations for students in Class V and lower. Performances of students in Classes VI to VII are evaluated by grade system (grades are assigned instead of marks). Class IX onwards, our students appear for regular examinations.
Parents Teachers Interaction
To ensure constant interaction between the school and home, which is essential to the healthy growth of a child, parents representatives are elected. In addition, parents are encouraged to participate in the open house discussions. |
